Workshop Building Materials Analysis 2009 Institute for Mineralogy/Geochemistry, University of Halle, Germany Date: March 24, 2009 - February 26, 2009

The international Building Materials Analysis workshop will be held from March 24-26, 2009. It is the fourth workshop organized at the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg by the Department of Mineralogy and Geochemistry from the Institute of Geosciences in cooperation with PANalytical and the ICDD. The workshop will deal with the newest developments in the area of building materials analysis. This year’s special guest is Hugo Rietveld, world-renowned originator of the Rietveld refinement for the quantification of crystalline phases.
